This short and pleasant trek takes us through the two districts of Punakha and Wangdue. It allows us mainly to observe the various facades of life in rural Bhutan. Each of the villages we pass through has interesting folk and historical narratives to share. We also get to enjoy nature as we make our way through oak, cypress, rhododendron and pine forests plus mountain springs, meadows, traditional bridges, temples, etc.
Day 1: Punakha to Limukha
Day 2: Limukha to Chhungsakha
Day 3: Chhungsakha to Samtengang
Day 4: Samtengang to Chhuzomsa
